How to use announcements and news
How to review company announcements, reminders, app updates, and finance news in FolioSync.
Common symptoms
- You want to find company announcements or finance news.
- An announcement reminder did not appear.
- You are not sure whether a notification is an app update or stock announcement.
What to try first
- 1Open News or Announcements from the app navigation.
- 2Refresh the screen if you expect newer items.
- 3Company announcements can include dividend, bonus, book closure, financial result, board meeting, or other notices.
- 4Finance news is separate from company announcements and may be opened from the news area.
- 5The in-app Notifications screen stores app announcements, stock announcements, and other notification records.
- 6Auto Dividend settings affect whether dividend, bonus, or reminder actions are created from announcements.
- 7If you already added a dividend or bonus manually, FolioSync may avoid creating a duplicate automatic entry.
When opening a ticket
- Send the stock symbol, announcement date, screenshot, and what you expected to see.
- Mention whether announcement notifications and Auto Dividends are enabled.
