How to import CDC dividend reports
How to import dividend report files and review dividend, WHT, zakat, and portfolio selection.
Common symptoms
- You want to import dividend history from a dividend report file.
- The dividend report import asks for a portfolio.
- Imported WHT, zakat, or dividend amounts need review.
What to try first
- 1Open Settings > Data Protection.
- 2Choose Import Dividends from CDC Report.
- 3Select the portfolio where the dividend entries should be added.
- 4Choose the report file from your device.
- 5Review imported dividend entries before relying on totals.
- 6Check stock symbol, dividend date, shares, dividend amount, WHT, zakat, and notes where available.
- 7If a dividend already exists, check for duplicates before saving or keeping imported entries.
- 8After import, review Dividend History, cash, and portfolio summary.
When opening a ticket
- Attach the report file, import error or preview screenshot, and destination portfolio name if import fails.
- Hide personal identifiers if needed, but keep table headings, rows, symbols, dates, and amounts visible.
