AMC statement import is not working
What to check when a mutual fund account statement cannot be imported or imports incomplete transactions.
Common symptoms
- The AMC statement says the format is unsupported.
- Only some funds or transactions are imported from a multi-fund statement.
- Conversion, redemption, CGT, load, or reinvestment values do not look right after import.
What to try first
- 1Use the original statement PDF downloaded from the AMC portal or app. Screenshots, scans, and cropped PDFs are less reliable.
- 2FolioSync supports multiple statement formats for Al Meezan, UBL/Al-Ameen, Mahaana, and MCB/iSave. If your statement layout is new, it may need an app update before it imports correctly.
- 3Import the full statement period that contains the transactions you want. Very short date ranges can miss opening balances, conversions, or linked charges.
- 4After import, review the preview before saving. Check fund name, transaction type, units, NAV, charges, CGT, WHT, zakat, and dates.
- 5For conversions, confirm that convert-out and convert-in entries are represented correctly. Some statement formats describe conversions differently from normal redemptions.
When opening a ticket
- Attach the original PDF, app version, AMC name, fund name, and screenshots of the import preview.
- If privacy is a concern, hide personal identifiers only. Keep fund names, table headings, transaction rows, and dates visible.
- If the import saved wrong values, include a backup or Excel export so support can inspect the affected transactions.
