How to secure FolioSync with app lock
How to use PIN, biometric unlock, auto-lock, and balance hiding to protect financial information.
Common symptoms
- You want FolioSync to ask for a PIN before opening.
- You want to enable biometric unlock.
- You want the app to lock automatically after a period of time.
What to try first
- 1Open Settings > Security & Privacy.
- 2Turn on App Lock and set a PIN when prompted.
- 3Use Change PIN if you need to update the PIN later.
- 4Enable Biometric Unlock if your device supports it and you want fingerprint or face unlock.
- 5Set Auto-Lock to control when FolioSync locks after inactivity.
- 6Use Settings > Hide Balances when you only need to mask values on screen without locking the app.
When opening a ticket
- Send device model, Android version, app version, and screenshot of the security settings if app lock does not behave as expected.
- If biometric unlock is unavailable, confirm biometric unlock works in your Android system settings first.
